We have secured an EXTENSION - 14th July 2023:

We have been lucky enough to work along side our insurer and have agreed upon an extension, this will mean that the foam pit is OPEN and will be able to remain open until September 30th, 2023.

This will be the absolute last time we will be granted this, with only 11 weeks left of being open for use, we want you to come and experience the amazing things that can be achieved from using our foam pit.

Foam Pits & Indoor Skate Parks

Foam Pits have been a staple part of indoor skate parks for a long time.  When RampFest opened in 2008, the foam pit was one of the key attractions for everyone. 

But unfortunately times change and we have to adapt as we go.  This week, like many other indoor skate parks around Melbourne and Australia, we got word that our insurance would not cover us for a Foam Pit from our next renewal.

What does this mean?

It's pretty simple... we can't legally operate without insurance, and if we can't get insurance for a foam pit, we can't have a foam pit. 

This is affecting a lot of indoor skate parks around the country right now - you may have already seen that The Shed has shut its air bag & Slam Factory have closed their foam pit.

What's Next?

We're working on some new ramp designs and obstacles at the moment that we can put in place of the foam pit, and we'll be releasing some designs soon... This will most likely be a BIG renovation... our biggest since our bowl upgrade in 2019.

Want to Buy the Foam Pit?

A few people have enquired about buying the foam pit... and yes, it will definitely be for sale!  We'll be selling via an auction - with a couple of conditions:

1.  You need to be able to collect the foam and transport it between Oct 1st-5th.  We can't offer delivery.

2.  Ideally, we want one person to take it all.  Our pit is 8m long, 5m wide and 1.8m deep.
