Event Overview

In the lead up to Freestyle BMX making it's debut in the Tokyo Olympic Games, the Oceania Championships will be critical for athletes looking to maximise their points on the international circuit.  This will be an opportunity for top BMX Riders to improve their ranking, and for new-comers to earn their spot into future World Cup events.  This will be the first ever Continental Championship for Freestyle BMX in the Oceania region.

The weekend will also feature the RampFest BMX International - which (as a C1 UCI Points Event) gives all the elite competitors a second-chance to grab a podium and secure extra international points.

And finally, the weekend will feature the Oceania Challenge Event - which will be an open-entry Amateur & Junior BMX Competition.  Entries will be open to anyone - so riders of all ages will get the chance to participate alongside the Pro's.  This will also be a big chance for any young, aspiring BMX Riders to test their skills before attempting to join the Elite category.
