We are stoked to be partnering with Maribyrnong Council to be hosting a a series of FREE Come & Try Skateboarding Sessions across the city as part of the "Love Your West" event series.
These sessions are all about the newbies - it doesn't matter if you've never stood on a board before, we'll help you get started. Don't worry if you don't have your own gear - we'll bring boards and helmets too!

How Much Does It Cost?
The Come & Try Skateboard Sessions are all FREE!
Where are the Sessions Located?
There is a range of locations - see above for dates, locations and times.
How Big are the Ramps?
Some of our sessions are on existing skateparks - but they all have suitable beginner ramps. Our pop up skate park has a whole range of ramp sizes to suit all skill levels - the smallest being only 20cm high - super easy for beginners.
What gear do I need?
You'll need a skateboard, a helmet and closed in footwear. We have hire boards and helmets available too if you don't have your own - so don't worry!
Can I do more lessons if I like it?
Absolutely - if you enjoy your session, we host regular lessons at RampFest for Skateboarding. Find out more about RampFest Coaching Clinics.
What do you teach in a Come & Try Session?
We cover the skate park basics - from safety, etiquette to skill basics. We'll cover how to stand on your board, and how to roll, push, stop, turn and roll up basic ramps.
Does it matter how old you are?
Nope - anyone is welcome, at any age.
