Which Skateboard Lesson is best for you?
Whether you've just rocked up to the skate park for the first time, or you've been skating a while and want to progress your skills faster, we've put together this quick guide to help you find the best lesson. Booking a Skateboard Lesson at RampFest is easy - just click the "See Dates & Book" Button below, choose your program, pick a date and let's roll!
First Time Skateboarder
- Never skated on ramps before
- Not confident rolling on a skateboard
- Not confident turning on a skateboard
First Time Skateboard lessons are all about the basics. First, we'll get you rolling comfortably on your board - with enough confidence to push, turn and stop when you need to.
Most likely, you'll only need 2-3 First Timer Lessons before you can progress.
Lesson Times:

- Can stand, roll & stop on a skateboard
- Can turn on a skateboard
- Can roll down small ramps or flat banks
Beginner Skateboard lessons will get you started on the ramps with pumping, carving and other basic tricks. You'll build confidence on your board and start using different skate park obstacles.
We offer casual classes or term-based classes for beginners.

Wednesday 5pm - Term Based or Casual
Friday 5pm - Term Based or Casual
Sunday 10am - Every Week

- Can drop in on a quarter
- Can ollie or kick-turn on
- Confident going fast on a skateboard
Intermediate lessons are perfect for skaters who are confident going fast and dropping into the ramps. You'll start learning some more advanced tricks, and how to use the bigger ramps in the skate park.
We offer casual classes or term-based classes for intermediate skaters

Wednesday 6pm - Term Based or Casual
Friday 6pm - Term Based or Casual

Private Lessons & Advanced Coaching
We also offer private skateboard lessons at RampFest - where you can go 1-on-1 with a coach. These lessons are great for more advanced skaters, or if you're looking for some more personalised advice.
You can also book a private lesson for a small group and pricing is:
Private Lessons start at $89.95 per hour
Bookings essential, available at set times Sunday & Wednesdays.
