Come & Try FAQ's

How Much Does It Cost?

The Come & Try Sessions at Central West are all FREE!

Where is the Session Located?

District Live Skate Sessions will take place in the Events Plaza of the The District, Docklands.  See Map above...

How Big are the Ramps?

They are all beginner size - mostly 2ft tall (between 50-75cam) - so they are quite small, and easy to use.

What gear do I need?

You don't need anything other than closed in footwear to participate.  We have hire skateboards, scooters and helmets available onsite.  However, you are of course welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Can I do more lessons if I like it?

Absolutely - if you enjoy your session, we host regular lessons at RampFest for Skateboarding & Scooters.  Find out more about RampFest Coaching Clinics.

What do you teach in lesson?

We cover the skate park basics - from safety, etiquette to skill basics.  We'll cover how to stand on your board or scooter, and how to roll, push, stop, turn and roll up basic ramps.

Does it matter how old you are?

The lessons & sessions have a basic age range (under 14s & all ages).  But we really do mean all ages.  Adults are more than welcome at any session if you'd like to give it a go.
